A year into its launch, the numbers weren’t hitting expectations, and the podcast network was concerned. That’s when I stepped in to turn things around.

The Challenge

Despite T.I. 's influence and high-profile guests, ExpediTIously wasn’t resonating as expected. The branding felt too polished, the messaging didn’t fully connect with fans, and social media was practically non-existent. My job? Inject new energy into the podcast and build a loyal, engaged audience.

The Game Plan

I developed a multi-pronged approach to breathe new life into ExpediTIously. 

Here’s what I did:

  1. Rebranded the podcast—I gave ExpediTIously a facelift by making the visuals, copy, and headlines more in tune with T.I.’s authentic style.

  2. Made the content unmissable—I leaned into culturally relevant, eye-catching visuals and click-worthy headlines that got people talking and sharing implementing a strategic use of clickbait imagery and headlines to increase shareability.

  3. Leveraged the power of guests—I didn’t just rely on the podcast’s own channels; I tapped into the networks of each celebrity guest to amplify reach.

  4. Turned virality into revenue—More engagement meant more opportunities. Secured two six-figure brand deals while keeping the existing one with Podcast One.

  5. Strategy Overhaul

    • I identified a disconnect between the podcast's branding and T.I.’s core audience and suggested a shift towards a more culturally resonant aesthetic in copy, headlines, and imagery to align with T.I.’s signature style.

  6. Social Media Growth & Engagement

    • I launched and managed all social media platforms, growing followers from 0 to 500K across channels within nine months.

    • I created all copy, visuals, and video content, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.

  7. Advertising & Brand Partnerships

    • I designed a targeted growth marketing strategy, incorporating paid advertising and influencer collaborations.

    • Managed relationships with agencies and production companies to secure distribution partnerships.
